Women Veterans Rose Petal
Memorial & Luncheon

at the Keeter Center, College of the Ozarks

The Branson Veterans Task Force is privileged to celebrate and honor women veterans during Veterans Homecoming Week, November 5th - 11th 2007.

We invite all women veterans and those that support them to attend the Rose Petal ceremony to be held at location to be determined.

The Rose Petal Ceremony is a moving tribute acknowledging women from each branch of service who have served and a special way to honor the women who have given their lives for their country. Rose petal will be handed out to attending women veterans and guests. Representatives from each branch of our armed services will speak , after which veterans from  that branch of service will drop rose petals into the fountain in memory of those women who have died while serving their country. The public will then be invited to drop petals in the fountain for others who have sacrificed their lives in defense of our nation.

Following this service there will be a luncheon with camaraderie, fun and an impressive speaker program. Watch for luncheon reservation information coming soon.

Keep an eye out for Women Veterans Week -- May 14 through the 20th 2007. Events include Hospitality Room, Mini Golf, Shows, Reception/Banquet and much more.
